Updated Early Elementary Ancient History Supplement

I have finally updated my outdated schedule that correlates with Sonlight Core B®.  This schedule and author are not affiliated with Sonlight® in any way.

One note, I didn't update my old Core B schedule, so this supplement schedule follows 2011 and before.  I'm still sharing, as the ideas are here, but they won't line up as nicely with the new Core B.  Hopefully it will still be helpful.

  1. We will be studying Sonlight Core E this year. Last year we only made it to Week 15. This year I am determined to finish it. How do you fit in the supplemental activities? Do you still use Landmark History and The Story of the USA? My kids enjoy Sonlight but need some hands-on activities. Thank you for your help.

    1. Hi Julie, I'm doing a newer version of SL, so the 5th day is pretty much open except for Bible and a few random readings. I have been taking that 5th day to choose an activity and go over the websites. Just this year, I've made a master list of the links week-by-week for the girls to go through on their own. For notebooking, I don't do all the pages, but instead choose what can be reasonably be done within the week and work on it on days that are lighter on the basics. I'm still working out kinks this year with Core E. I've got a lot planned, as usual, but I won't get to everything on the supplement schedules.

  2. Hi! Thank you for the tremendous blessing that you give me by offering all the things that you do! Is there a trick to printing the weeks 18-36? I can only get the first half of the year, even if I select the later half... AND, did I see the newer Core B supplement here also? I could be crazy (VERY possible), but I seem to remember seeing a Core B new edition revision. If not, the older one is still very helpful! :) Thank you SOOOO very much for all that you do!

    1. I'm not sure why you're not able to print the last weeks of the schedule. It might be a browser issue (try Firefox?) or it might also be that you need to download it first (?). If you still have troubles, message me here again, and I'll send you another copy via e-mail.

This is the revised edition. I didn't update my Core B this year, so I don't have one to line up with the newer editions. :)
